America is on the brink of a retirement crisis, and most people don’t even realize it. A staggering 3 in 10 Americans are relying on Social Security as their primary source of income in retirement, despite looming threats of massive benefit cuts that could hit in just a few years.

According to a new poll, 31% of Americans have NO retirement savings whatsoever, leaving them at the mercy of a system that could be bankrupt by 2035. And if that happens, the 17% cut in Social Security benefits will be devastating, slashing the already meager monthly checks of millions of retirees.

Imagine trying to survive on less than $23,000 a year—this is the grim reality for millions of Americans who think Social Security alone will sustain them.
